Katherine Davis

Costume Designer and Technician

Katherine Davis is a costume designer currently pursuing her MFA in Costume Design and Technology at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. She received her BFA in Theatrical Production and Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. She was also able to spend a semester abroad studying and interning in London at The Space Theatre.

During her time in Kansas City, Katherine has had the opportunity to work with many local theaters. Her recent designs include Dracula; A Song of Love and Death (UMKC Theatre and KCAT), Brother Toad (OriginKC; New Works Festival), Men on Boats (Unicorn Theatre), Rodelinda (UMKC Conservatory Opera) and O Beautiful (UMKC Theatre), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (UNL Theatre) and more.

When not designing Katherine loves to continue to explore all fields costume related and has recently discovered a love of millinery. You can find her resume below.
